There was a big show held on four evenings in Split (south
Croatian Coast) under four different judges.
Only 12 Border Collies were entered every day, but well known and very
successful dogs from the Netherlands, North Germany and Hungary.
I could live on a campsite in a tent of my stepfather, who was so nice to help
me with all that I needed. Thank you for everything, Franzi!
I have spent a wonderful time there and met very nice friends from Hungary, Cili
and Imre with their "Star". We´ve spent lovely hours on the beach Café and have
had a lot of fun.
I would like to thank Monika from Hungary, who helped me showing Tally when I
had to return with two dogs into the BOB ring at once and Monika was leading
Tally to "Best Dog"! It was great to meet you and I do hope to see you again.
Also I met Mirjam from Germany again, whom I know from the shows in Ljubljana in
January, we´ve had some nice talks together.
Tally has fallen into pieces when he´s lost all his coat last week so I didn´t
expect anything at the shows.
All in all it has been wonderful 5 days in the sun, I´m really relaxed,
everything worked fine and I decided to come again next year for that show and
to that campsite, because our dogs were very welcome and they´ve had a seperate
section of the sandy beach for us and our dogs so that we could swim and having
fun with our dogs in the sea. But I will be coming with my husband and the
camper for a whole week at least to spend our holidays there.
